The Podere Palazzo Illica is located 2 kilometers from Castell’Arquato (Piacenza) in the San Lorenzo area: near the thermal complexes in Bacedasco, Salsomaggiore, Tabiano and Castell’Arquato, where one may visit the Viscount’s Fortress and the Collegiate church.
Podere Palazzo Illica is an old seventeenth-century palace which belonged to Diogene Illica, father of Luigi Illica (librettist of Puccini, Bellini and Mascagni). Its architectural structure, as well as the indoor areas and furnishings, have been preserved throughout the centuries.
The team of Podere Palazzo Illica has one common passion: their love for this unique, inviting and serene place.
The family proprietors are dedicated to the management of the Palace responsibilities: some contribute their expertise in territory marketing, some their agronomic skills, others their knowledge in the humanistic field and yet others their expertise in the culinary arts: everyone is moving towards one objective
